Cape to Cape Travel and Tours

The people behind the road.

A small Cape Town team that would rather show you the city it knows than the one on the postcards.

Our story, in three parts

  1. Table Mountain in late light, a cloud spilling over its flat summit

    01Where it started

Years on the road with other companies.

Bulelani is an adventurer through and through, with a deep love for South Africa's history, cultures and landscapes. He spent years guiding for local tour companies — and kept seeing more of the Cape than the itineraries allowed.

  2. Brightly painted houses in the Bo-Kaap

    02Why Cape To Cape

    Beyond the usual sights.

So he started his own: tours that are more authentic and immersive, uncovering hidden corners and the real stories of Cape Town's diverse communities.

  3. Dias Beach tucked below the cliffs at Cape Point

    03Today

Planned around the people who travel with us.

Day tours and private itineraries from Table Mountain to Cape Point, the Winelands and Walker Bay — small groups, pickup from your door, and a Cape Town local in the car.

Who you’ll hear from.

How we travel

Six things we hold to.

  1. 01

    Beyond the usual sights

Hidden corners and the real stories of Cape Town's diverse communities — the reason Bulelani started guiding on his own.

  2. 02

    From your door

Most journeys begin with a pickup from your Cape Town accommodation and end with a drop-off.

  3. 03

    Small groups

Tours run in small groups so there is room for questions and detours. Table Mountain treks take a maximum of eight.

  4. 04

    Shaped around you

Half-day, full-day or several days. Tailored tours are private — for solo travellers, couples, families and small groups.

  5. 05

    Honest about the weather

If extreme weather cancels a day tour, you get a full refund — or we move it to another day.

  6. 06

    Auf Deutsch

Enquiries in German are welcome. Melanie looks after German-speaking travellers from the first message.
