Booking & cancellation.

Questions about any of this? Email info@capetocape.com.

01

Booking

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
  • A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm, as specified when you book.
  • Changes to dates, itinerary or group size can often be accommodated, subject to availability and any applicable fees.

02

Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be made in writing, by email or through the booking platform.
  • 30 days' notice: 25% of the full payment is forfeited.
  • 20 days' notice: 50% of the full payment is forfeited.
  • 7 days' notice: 100% of the full payment is forfeited.
  • Full refund if a day tour is cancelled due to extreme weather. Postponement is also possible.
  • Refunds are processed within a few business days of written notice, to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
  • Exceptions may be granted at our discretion, for example for documented medical emergencies.

03

Changes by us

  • If we need to cancel or significantly change a tour — for example because of insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances — we will tell you as soon as possible and offer alternative dates, a comparable tour, or a full refund.
  • We are not responsible for cancellations, delays or changes caused by force majeure events (such as natural disasters, political unrest or pandemics), though we will do everything we can to help.

04

Travel insurance

  • Travel insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended, covering cancellation, medical emergencies and lost or damaged belongings.

05

Health & safety

  • We work with trusted suppliers and follow industry standards. Please follow the safety guidance of your guide and suppliers.
  • Let us know in advance about medical conditions, dietary requirements or other needs so we can make arrangements.

06

Privacy

  • Information you share is used only to arrange your booking and send relevant tour information. We do not sell or share it without consent, except where required by law or to fulfil your booking.

07

Code of conduct

  • We ask all guests to respect local laws, customs and fellow travellers, guides and suppliers. Behaviour that is disruptive, offensive or unsafe may lead to removal from a tour without refund.

08

Complaints

  • If something isn't right during a tour, tell us straight away so we can try to resolve it. If a dispute can't be settled directly, you may pursue further action as permitted by law.
